Our tennis players, reaping the rewards of continued hard work and going from strength to strength. Tennis Performance Director of Prior’s Field’s tennis academy, Jorge Martin Munoz reports, ‘At Riverside Northwood, in a Grade 3 tournament, First Former Kira reach the quarter finals in the 12U category, losing only to the number 1 seed, 11-9 in the third set; Second Former Evie reached the quarter finals of the 16Us; Third Former Emma won in the 14U category, adding points to her national ranking that should take her to the top 120. Emma has also been awarded a place at the Haslemere U15 Hockey Performance Centre and represents Hampshire at U14; as a third string to her sporting bow, at cricket, she was selected for Surrey U15 winter training! Well done everyone.

Meanwhile, congratulations and good luck to Sixth Former Daisy who has been selected by Surrey to play today and this weekend for the 18U Girls’ County Cup team in Bath. Surrey attracts more players than any other county and is therefore the most difficult to represent, so it is wonderful recognition of Daisy’s hard work and commitment.’
