Forget the Oscars next month, the real battle for dramatic accolades took place on Monday in the Assembly Hall! Austen, Frank and Pankhurst Houses took to the stage to perform fairy-tale themed pantomimes in front of the judging panel ; Mrs McGarry (Head of English) , Katie Hamilton (Wellington College LAMDA teacher), and ex girl Becca Gwyther who is a successful theatre director and producer. All the hard work that the lower school actresses have put in since Christmas, under the guidance of their directors and writers of the upper sixth team, came to fruition as they entertained an excited audience for the afternoon.
