We seek girls who are sparky, curious about life and learning and show plenty of initiative. The school offers an excellent all-round education which caters for girls of all abilities and interests, with well-established programmes in place for the exceptionally able and those needing learning support in specific areas. The conclusion of independent school inspectors in our ISI report of March 2016 is that Prior’s Field pupils are “extremely well educated”.

The Governors invite applications for the post of Bursar, which will become vacant in January 2018 on the retirement of Leonie Ranson, who has held the position for 9 years.
The Bursar has overall responsibility for the management and leadership of all non-educational elements of the school and makes a major contribution to the school’s strategic planning. The role embraces, first and foremost, finance as well as estates & facilities management, IT, HR, procurement, health & safety, legal issues and insurance.
There has been a significant building and renovation programme over the past few years and the masterplan envisages further development in the near future. The school employs approximately 140 staff, around two-thirds teaching, one-third support, plus another 50 engaged as contractors.
